Quick History of Brownies

Brownies were born in the U.S. in the late 1800s — originally more like dense chocolate cakes. Over time, they evolved into a chewy, fudgy treat. Now, we’ve taken them to the next level with protein-packed versions to fuel your gains


Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 2 scoops (60g) chocolate or vanilla protein powder
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • Optional: dark chocolate chips, crushed walnuts


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C / 350°F.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Pour into a lined or greased small baking tray.
  4. Bake for 15–18 mins.
  5. Let cool before slicing into 8 squares.
