Quick History of Brownies
Brownies were born in the U.S. in the late 1800s — originally more like dense chocolate cakes. Over time, they evolved into a chewy, fudgy treat. Now, we’ve taken them to the next level with protein-packed versions to fuel your gains
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe bananas (mashed)
 - 2 scoops (60g) chocolate or vanilla protein powder
 - 2 tbsp cocoa powder
 - 2 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter
 - 1 egg
 - 1/2 tsp baking powder
 - Optional: dark chocolate chips, crushed walnuts
 
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 175°C / 350°F.
 - Mix all ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
 - Pour into a lined or greased small baking tray.
 - Bake for 15–18 mins.
 - Let cool before slicing into 8 squares.
